SUMMARY
Generation of new accounts and the maintenance of existing accounts within the territory of SOUTH EAST TERRITORY(GA,NC,SC,TN,AL,MS through (IBDs, OEMs, Corporate, and Events)
Key Objectives
Responsible for developing and managing all territory activities associated with the sales and Promotion of Capo Cycling Apparel. This is inclusive of the full Capo range of inline and custom apparel. Achieve the regional sales inline growth plan and improve the sales in the region by Developing current and new customers Achieve the territory custom growth/sales plan through Retailers, Corporate and Event opportunities Participate in 2 territory events that fit the brand and promote sales in the region – qualification for these events must be approved by the DSM Network at cycling related and corporate relevant events to promote the custom and inline businesses Provide extensive sales training to independent dealers to enhance and build the Capo brand and effectiveness in the territory Identify new customers that fit the brand and geographic area. Develop personal leads that follow the capo brand strategy in order to create new accounts with custom and inline apparel
Primary Functions
Responsible for meeting the monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota and improve sales productivities by developing the customer base. Travel to new and existing accounts on a regular basis for line review, education of the sales staff and community event involvement. Incorporate product placement as well as in store merchandising in your regular store visits. Communicate voids in the assortment and additional opportunities back to the buyer/owner. In closing recommend fill-in orders in season. Tactically sell and position products and services at the IBD. This is inclusive of merchandising at retailers as well as working with product managers on placement on the web. Offer relevant information that will help increase total sales. Communicate regularly to the inside sales team on the progress in the region. In addition communicate any customer needs in a timely manner to ensure the service needs are met.
